Features:

• rugged case, lcd with backlight and keypad with many functions
• general purpose compass
• survey mode -- using the laser pointer used to take measurements which can be later retrieved via usb, or read on screen. Store 700 measurements. Measurements are accurate to the degree.
• gaussmeter -- measure magnetic fields including 3-axis vector magnetometer
• internal 800mah battery -- recharged via usb providing 10-20 hours of runtime when new. There is space in the box to fit a much larger battery if desired.
• Scripts provided to read survey measurements and write files to be loaded into Survex and Walls.
• survey plot -- view line plots of survey data
• hot wire anemometer -- Based on halogen light bulb, comes with 2 probes.
• usb interface -- read sensor data, and configure the device as well as update firmware and recharge battery.
• open source -- software and hardware open source
• plots -- plot any sensor data with scrolling or sweep plot modes.
• calculator -- scientific calculator with regular and reverse polish.
• buzzer -- can beep now when taking shots or calibrating to make it much easier to use.
